M. William Instance

Bill Instance attended Ottawa University and received his Bachelor Of Social Science in Economics in 1978. He then attended Queen’s University and received an LL.B. in 1981. He was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 1983.

Bill joined the Pembroke law firm of LaFrance, Shaw & LaFrance in 1983 and had a general practice with that firm until its merger with Huckabone O’Brien and Radley-Walters in 1987.

Bill practices in the area of residential real estate (including sales, purchases and mortgages), wills and estates, corporate/commercial matters and family law. In addition, he is the solicitor for three Renfrew County municipalities, assisting them with various real estate, planning, By-Law and tax collection issues.

Bill is a member of the Law Society Of Upper Canada and the Renfrew County Law Association. He has been active in the community, serving on various charitable and community boards, including the United Way and the Pembroke Soccer Club and donating his time canvassing for such charities as the March Of Dimes and the Kidney Foundation.
